Math Blog

I'm in the progress of switching my focus from ESL to Mathematics and so I decided to search for the blogs that were related to Mathematics, especially geared toward middle school students. Luckily I was able to find a blog called Ms. Hatley's Middle School Math Blog. This Blog has quite a lot of resource and information in the field of Mathematics. She posted up many insightful and helpful online resources that a middle school math teachers may adopt and accommodate in the curriculum and more over she made all the websites hyper-linked for an easy access. One of her insightful online resources that contains all contents of mathematics from grade 6 to 8 is the following: http://www.thatmathsite.com/mach_12/grade_6_mach1.shtml.
This website has sets of activities that students could participate online and practice and understand the concepts and terms possibly be learning in the middle school math class. She also shares many of her thoughts and beliefs of her teaching philosophy and writes blog from a teacher's perspective. I believe in the team teaching though it seems to me that it is yet to be practical. I learn many things not only from my own experiences and failures but also from others' as well.
